About Dr. Lori Liu
Dr. Lori Liu was born and raised in New Jersey. She grew up in Saddle River and attended Ramsey High School. Dr. Liu graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor degree in Biological Sciences and was inducted into the Alpha Delta Epsilon Pre-Medicial Honor Society. Dr. Liu was then accepted into the competitive 7-year Accelerated BA/DMD program with UMDNJ New Jersey Dental School (now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine). At the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, NJ, she was awarded the eminent Dr. Frank E. Frates Outstanding Clinician Award and was inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. She earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine upon graduation. Dr. Liu then completed a General Practice Residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York where she gained advanced expertise in all aspects of general dentistry. Following her residency, Dr. Liu has been working as an associate dentist in New York City and Brooklyn, New York, before starting her own dental practice in Watchung, New Jersey.
Dr. Liu is a licensed dentist in both New Jersey and New York states. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Chinese American Dental Association, and Chinese American Independent Practice Association, and Central Jersey Dental Society.
Dr. Liu has extensive training including composite & amalgam restorations, crowns, root canal treatments, fixed & removable partial dentures, extractions, as well as implant restorations. She is a firm believer of providing quality dental care. Her patients appreciate her gentle, patient, and caring approach to treatments.
